Sensitivity to chemicals
Despite a conscious lifestyle or a purely organic diet, contact with chemicals is almost unavoidable. They are hidden, for example, in cosmetics, medicines, cleaning products, tobacco smoke, pesticides, textiles, car exhaust fumes or plastics.
Chemical substances can affect the psyche or have a toxic effect. Studies have shown that chemical sensitivity can affect cognitive thinking, the musculoskeletal system, the gastrointestinal tract, the urogenital tract or the cardiovascular system.

If you should have a pre-existing illness, we recommend that you carry out the Alcat Test in agreement with your doctor or healthcare practitioner in order to integrate it into your treatment plan. However, a healthy diet according to the Alcat principle can easily be used for prevention.
Your Alcat team looks forward to answering your enquiries (and concerns) about the test, panel choices or lifestyle related questions that may arise.
+++ Disclaimer+++
The Alcat Test is to be understood as a nutritional concept and complementary nutritional therapy and is neither diagnostic nor curing method.
We emphasise that the Alcat Test does not measure parameters of the specific immune system (allergies/antibodies), but non-allergic, direct cell-mediated food-related hypersensitivities, primarily mediated by the innate immune system.
Therefore, the Alcat Test does not diagnose food allergies (type 1/IgE) and no enzymatic-induced intolerances to lactose, fructose or histamine. We expressly distance ourselves from antibody tests of the IgG class(es).
